After removing the front brake caliper, clean lower legs using a degreaser for delicate surfaces, water and a clean cloth. Make sure the surface is dry before applying adhesive. It’s not necessary to remove original decals. Outside temperature must be at least 20° for an optimal application. If you have a hair dryer you can heat up Forkover for 30″ in order to let them more soft to apply.
Take Forkover out from the box and without removing the film from the adhesive side, simulate the application on the left leg first (disc side) and then on the right side. You can take as benchmark the caliper brackets and start from that point.
In order not to leave finger prints on the glue side, moisten your hands with water or wear a pair of latex gloves. Keeping in mind the step2, peel off a bit the glue film and start to apply Forkover, by means of your fingers, progressively from one side to the other and then from the bottom to the top so that all the surface perfectly get stuck. Stratch it gently, if necessary, in order to let it fit better on the rounded surface. Do the same on the right leg.
Make sure that the entire Forkover surface is fully stuck and screw the brake caliper back on. The application is now ended. Do not use or wash the bike for at least 24 hours in order to let the glue dry and disappear. Do not leave it in a humid place during this time. Now your fork is protected!
